International Women's Day

Yesterday was a very joyous day in our school and surroundings. 
We have celebrated International Women's Day or as we would say in Croatia - Dan žena.
After doing the research about the Women's Day and its history, we have talked with our pupils what do they think of it, about women's rights, value, equality with men etc.
We have also prepared some presents for the females in our school and outside of it.
We couldn't even imagine that this activity will be so positive and full of joy.
Our pupils were very happy and proud that that could give something, and once again they have realized how giving is often better than receiving.
We made cups, bags, magnets and pens with a picture of  Dubrovnik and a logo of our project Magic Values. During the sharing gifts we talked with women about our project, what we do in it, about our activity and other things. 
First we did sharing in our school, and after that we went on the streets. All the women were surprised, but happy and thankful.
Those smiles on the women faces tell you all, and when the activity was finished we were so happy because of the result and the feeling that we had at the end.
Beautiful sunny day in Dubrovnik became the most beautiful Women's Day ever 🌞 💖
